Electric Pallet/Stacker Truck Training

Pedestrian Operated Trucks, often referred to as Pedop, POET or stacker, course will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall and explain the causes of truck and load instability.
The course covers, but is not limited to, the following areas;
- Controls and instruments
- Starting/moving/stopping and steering the truck
- Battery care and maintenance
- Weight assessment
- Vehicle loading/unloading from a loading dock environment
- Bulk and industrial pallet racking (dependent on truck type)
Low Level Pedestrian Pallet/Rider/Counterbalance/Rider Stacker/Pedestrian Stacker/Straddle/Reach Low Level Truck Course Durations (ABA codes A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 – for 3 candidates):
- Novice: 9 hours
- Existing: 6.5 hours
- Refresher: 4 hours
- Conversion: 5.5 hours
High Level Pedestrian Counterbalance/Rider Stacker/Stacker/Straddle/Reach High Level Truck Course Durations (ABA codes A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 – for 3 candidates):
- Novice: 18 hours
- Existing: 10 hours
- Refresher: 6.5 hours
- Conversion: 7.5 hours
Eye Level Pedestrian Counterbalance/Rider Stacker/Stacker/Straddle/Reach Eye Level Truck Course Durations (ABA codes A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 – for 3 candidates):
- Novice: 12.25 hours
- Existing: 8 hours
- Refresher: 5.5 hours
- Conversion: 7 hours
Last year over 3,000 people completed and passed RTITB electric pedestrian operated pallet transporter/stacker truck and testing and achieved their internationally recognised RTITB Certificate of Basic Operator Training.
